It's my pleasure to welcome your Book Chat leader for today, fellow JVP Op, BJM.  I will now turn it over to her and she will share with us her synopsis of the book and also post a series of questions about the book and we can all add our comments and discuss.

(BJM) thank you so much Jules, I feel much more grounded - thank you so much. I'm really exciting about discussing our book today, 'Diary Of A Psychic'! Can I ask how many of you have read the book?

(BJM) Well I'll run a brief synopsis for you then: Sonia Choquette is a remarkable Psychic, spiritual counselor and teacher, and 'Diary of a Psychic' is her autobiography. She was born into her life's work, you could say. Her mother is psychic, and raised her to trust her intuition as much as she trusted her other senses. Through her young years she grew in her talents as a psychic, and as she matured, she found teachers who lead her into her life's work. What would you add to that synopsis Jules?

(JulieD) BJM I think that was a good over all view.

(BJM) Ok. Well then, I would like to start at the beginning. I think there is a lot to discuss here. She writes so well about her development as a psychic, spiritual counselor, and teacher.  Her life seems to have been such a straight line toward her career.  In many ways, her life seems to have been 'charmed' to me. Such a clear path! Her Mother was her first teacher.

What do you guys think was the most important thing she learned from her mom?

(dishes) trust her vibes

(megan) to listen to what her guides told her... never doubt it

(PSAMEA) acceptance of their words

(JulieD) it was interesting that she developed this gift in a family who had been thro difficult times

(Jess) To talk to her guides. Remember in the sewing room?

(dishes) ah yes

(Dr_D) To trust/believe in herself, as well as to trust the guides.

(BJM) Yes... I think she learned to accept and trust what she was getting psychically...

(Tree) yes, not thinking she was a weirdo

(BJM) ...and confidence was a big part of that.

(JulieD) DrD I agree with that... rather than with the guides, as later she found there were many level of guides.

(Jess) Just having the 'safety' and the importance of believing eyes.

(dishes) her mother helped enhance a spiritual playfulness and support

(BJM) She seemed to be able to incorporate a catholic school life with a psychic one pretty well too. I know that didn't work for me!!

(Dr_D) lol

(dishes) her mom provided the foundation

(rad51290) plus she was privy to some information about her teachers

(BJM) and the motivation to a large extent. haaa right!  I loved the spelling bee story!

(JulieD) Personally I found the first part a little difficult to me... it's not right to trespass into other peoples minds and life unless asked.

(Dr_D) me too, with the exception of her tattletale friends...lol

(BJM) Remember she talked about her mom's depression, and her using her interest in all things psychic as a way of pulling her mom out of it?

(goodwill) did she do a spelling bee?

(PSAMEA) me too, JulieD ... I was taught to ask permission.

(dishes) yes, she acted like a support

(BJM) Oh yes Jules - it was the naive way of an untrained talent!

(JulieD) goodwill... the nun thought that she was going to give a surprise bee, and Sonia told her classmates.

(Dr_D) The whole class did ...but it was suppose to have been a surprise...but she told the class, that the teacher had planned it, after hearing her teacher's thoughts.

(rad51290) hard to learn to control in the beginning I think.

(BJM) lol goodwill - she told her classmates that there would be a surprise spelling bee after hearing her teacher 'think' it.

(dishes) yes, she was ridiculed after that!

(goodwill) oh

(BJM) scolded for sure - and as she should be too!

(goodwill) lol

(BJM) but she didn't know any better

(Jess) I think it is important to remember that she just stumbled upon hearing people's thoughts- not something intentional.

(BJM) yes Jess - she didn't know any better

(rad51290) that has happened to me

(BJM) her mom was great for giving her confidence and for believing in her - but not much in the guidance department.

(seeking) Perhaps in the beginning, hearing others thoughts is a lesson. We don't know it is wrong, and through trial and error need to learn, no this is an invasion of privacy.

(PSAMEA) hard to explain what has always been part of you.... her mom didn't have the words to do that.

(Dr_D) Her mom seemed a bit selfish at times...but then so did Sonya initially.

(goodwill) don't you think that in order for us to hear other people's thought, it would mean that that person is projecting that thought to us in the first place?

(BJM) hmm - not necessarily goodwill

(JulieD) To share with others that it is natural to be psychic, and we all are, but there is a need to develop it, and understand it and use it to help others.

(Noahsdad) What do you think was her message? The reason she wrote the book?

(BJM) dad I think she wrote the book so that people could understand who she is, and what her mission is about.

(Noahsdad) and the message ... what was she about? Her mission?

(dishes) I liked the fact about the friend who didn't like her and rose told her to ask her out to bowling...

(BJM) oh I liked that too dishes - what a leap of faith that took for her to follow her guides advice!

(Dr_D) I think many of us can identify with much of what Sonya went through....from ridicule to acceptance...I feel the author wanted to let individuals know that if they are psychic...it's ok....

(goodwill) her mom is deaf

(dishes) that was kinda funny...the way Sonia describes her mom's deafness...

(Dr_D) ...not to get discouraged and continue to proceed forward in your metaphysical world.

(dishes) ...not that it is funny...

(BJM) For those who didn't read the book, she was aware of her abilities from a very young age, and encouraged by her mother to trust her intuition, and she met her guides - or a few of them at a young age as well...

(dishes) her mom had her read for her, then her friends.

(Dr_D) Some individuals do not even know that they even have a mission in life....this is another important concept that she emphasizes...

(BJM) ...at eleven years old she began to do professional readings. Yes, it's remarkable how clear her path was!

(dishes) yes, so authentic.

(Dr_D) 'Professional'...according to her, or because she was being paid...

(Tan) Wow what a lady! I know she has inspired me!

(Jess) Actually, her path wasn't as clear 'in the moment,' as it is to look back and see all the connections.

(BJM) She was not really ready to do readings, even though the information she gave was accurate.

(Dr_D) Some of the connections were amazing!

(BJM) Yes, professional in the sense that she was getting paid.

(young-believer) Does she explain in her book about how she came into understanding her psychic abilities, or did she just always know she had them?

(Noahsdad) hmm... I have not read the book, but I wonder if she became ok with herself, or helped to bring the psychic world closer to mainstream... but I would doubt the latter, in if some of you felt uncomfortable walking in her mind...

(PSAMEA) I found her visualization technique for a prom date totally unrealistic and amazingly successful lol

(BJM) She always knew young... her mother had them too.

(young-believer) Oh, ok... very interesting.

(BJM) lol PSA that was way cool, like a fairy tale!

(seeking) BJM, I have not read the book, though I do know of Sonia. Does she explain how to connect consciously? How to connect with the guide most needed to assist us now?

(Jess) Visualization is really powerful!!

(Dr_D) I've practiced that Psamea...and of course...it works!!

(BJM) In this book she talks about her own growth, and evolution as a psychic and teacher, seeker...

(Dr_D) Not so much the how to's as in telling her experiences...

(dishes) Yes, I like the fact that she heard guidance about going to Paris.

(PSAMEA) She devised exercises for herself to develop her psychic abilities.... simple things not meant to invade another's mind or privacy... like who is calling on phone... what color a car will be when the next one stops at a red-light...

(BJM) ...but her psychic pathway goes into that really well.

(PSAMEA) ...built her own confidence also.

(BJM) Yes, that's right PSA, she did. She was on a mission from the very start.

(dishes) I had the similar guidance like Sonia...

(Dr_D) Funny...I gave a reading today an asked not to receive any feedback....WOW!!

(BJM) one Christmas she found all of the presents for her siblings!

(dishes) ...that was cool!

(PSAMEA) seeking.... apparently according to Sonia... the guide most needed at a particular time is the one that makes the connection with you.

(seeking) ty

(BJM) Did you dishes?  What do you mean?

(dishes) yes...I heard that I was going to be a teacher ...

(BJM) Was that an exercise like Charley suggested for Sonia Dr. D?  :-)

(Dr_D) yes BJ

(dishes) ...and asked Sonia for confirmation... she said 'yes'.

(orion27) talking about spirit guides?

(Dr_D) Psychics seem to want validation on everything to see if they are "Right".

(PSAMEA) If anything in the book disappointed me, it was not knowing the outcome of some of her advice.... so that is hard, not getting feedback.... but more like real life.

(BJM) We are talking about the book, 'Diary of a Psychic' orion - by Sonia Choquette.

(dishes) so continuing with book, I especially enjoyed Charlie.

(BJM) That's cool dishes... do you teach?

(Dr_D) Ha...Charlie was great.....bless his soul!

(dishes) I'm teaching spiritual stuff...small stuff.

(BJM) Yes, that's the next area of discussion...

(Jess) PSA- I felt she explained that well, Charlie teaching NOT to get feedback.

(BJM) ...Charley. For those of you who didn't read, he was her first teacher, besides her mom.

(Eleanora) Isn't feedback important?

(dishes) I'm graduating this spring, so I'm applying for education program...

(PSAMEA) yes, Jess, but being me, I wanted to hear or read the Happy ending!  lol

(Dr_D) lol  it did have a happy ending! lol

(Jess) OH! I get it!

(dishes) ...at a different university..

(BJM) She began her formal training with him when she was what? 16?

(seeking) Dr_D I believe the reason we feel we need validation is because we are learning. We want to be sure we are learning correctly.

(BJM) or was it 14?

(dishes) yup BJM

(Dr_D) true

(BJM) Excellent dishes, good for you!

(dishes) thanks. Charlie taught her the psychic arts...

(PSAMEA) I believe that Charlie's point was that if the psychic is reading FOR Feedback, it taints what is gotten, or how it is interpreted... just give the message.... be the messenger, period.

(Jess) Even though we want validation, to continue to learn, we should not expect it, or seek it out.

(BJM) I agree seeking - it's hard to build confidence without that validation.

(Dr_D) Today was the first time I gave a reading without feedback...but tears came....and of course...that's feedback.

(Jess) We get feedback when least expected.

(dishes) great dr

(BJM) Yes, I agree PSA, and the client or student needs that validation too...

(Jess) Sonia teaching to be more FREE in our vibes, if we don't look for feedback

(BJM) ...to trust in you, and what you say.

(Dr_D) I would not have done so if I had not read the book...we were all lead to this book...

(dishes) yes, so true dr.

(BJM) Awwwe Dr D, yes that will do it for you!

(seeking) yes, BJM, very difficult, and who else can we ask?

(PSAMEA) I agree with the leading... and ty BJM for your choice to use it.

(dishes) I was led to it and other books as well.

(BJM) I am thrilled to share this book

(dishes) Charlie taught Sonia about psychometry.

(BJM) Yes, no more reading with the old card deck.

(goodwill) what exactly you mean by feedback, like insights?

(Dr_D) I was thrilled to read it...I was going to invite Sonya to our discussion today....lol

(PSAMEA) My first skill was psychometry... so I enjoyed what Sonia learned about it.

(BJM) Feedback... like  'yes you are right about what you just told me.' lol D - I did invite her!

(dishes) I'd like to learn psychometry.

(BJM) That would be a great thing to master.

(seeking) Oh, I have not done that. I meant from our guidance.

(PSAMEA) nomo didn't even know she does it.

(BJM) I've done it successfully a few times

(Nomokids6) Learn sumptin new everyday!

(Dr_D) lol

(JulieD) dishes, its like Charlie was telling Sonia, using the first thing that came to mind... not thinking about it and changing anything.

(seeking) Nomo is awesome, I have watched her work!

(Dr_D) Learning and Sharing and Loving.....isn't that what it's all about??

(BJM) What do you think the most important thing Charlie brought to her was?

(goodwill) Learning to know what the first impression is, is actually tricky.

(dishes) Being on time, and patience.

(JulieD) the phrase observe, and not absorb.

(Eleanora) understanding

(Dr_D) knowledge and confidence.........

(Nomokids6) I want to read this book............

(PSAMEA) yes, especially working as healer JulieD.

(BJM) oh yes Jules - that was an important thing wasn't it?

(dishes) yes Julie...observing!

(Jess) I loved the discipline factor of Charley... be on time!!

(Dr_D) and punctuality of course....lol

(dishes) and taking people not too personally.

(Dr_D) 12:03...you are late!!

(BJM) Important to know how to keep energies from attaching themselves to you...

(PSAMEA) I liked the concept that the spirits were arranging to meet Charlie's schedule as well.

(BJM) ...and I think he helped her with focus as well.

(dishes) yes

(Dr_D) lol...yes Psamea

(JulieD) Charlie helped Sonia get discipline and control into her life, and mediumship.

(dishes) yes agree Julie, and she was so young to learn this... then Charlie left...

(JulieD) again so important many don't learn this ever!

(BJM) yes Jules and I think he was also the first one to give her a concept of psychic work actually being someone's life's work.

(Dr_D) yes...that's amazing.....her being so young and willing to learn...with excitement!

(JulieD) yes BJM

(dishes) ah yes...BJM

(BJM) yes... just a teen...

(Jess) Charley was a nice one to confide in, because sometimes she didn't want to bother her mom.

(BJM) ...and so dedicated!

(dishes) Sonia was crushed when Charlie left...

(seeking) I think we are still very open at a younger age.

(Noahsdad) discipline, control and responsibility...

(BJM) A professional psychic!  That was a novel concept to her at first.

(PSAMEA) My favorite part of the book was near the last where she discussed the past lives readings.... as I believe that I do that, but have not had much success in anyone believing me, lol

(Dr_D) she was...but as he said...he had taught her everything he knew...the rest was up to her.

(BJM) but didn't you see how perfect the timing was too? 

(dishes) yes, like dominoes...

(Dr_D) What really amazed me was the name Patrick Tulley...lol

(BJM) That's the hardest thing to validate isn't it PSA?

(PSAMEA) yes BJM...

(dishes) ...synchronicity happened.

(BJM) I did that last night with someone...

(PSAMEA) ...indeed BJM...

(BJM) I saw so clearly their past life, but I couldn't make it real for them.

(Dr_D) I've seen my own past life......amazing....

(dishes) it was so cool when she met her next door neighbor, following Charlie.

(PSAMEA) ...but I know and trust when I ask to see someone... and I get them way back somewhere else that it is being shown for a reason.

(BJM) Charley gave her a clearer view of the big picture I think.

(Dr_D) yes BJ. Can I ask how many psychics are here??

(JulieD) lol  psychics or mediums DrD?

(Eleanora) I'm sort of in the closet.

(JulieD) yes goodwill

(PSAMEA) I plead guilty Dr. D

(Dr_D) if you are medium, you are psychic.

(JulieD) lol but not all mediums.

(Dr_D) Shame on you Eleanora...lol

(seeking) not sure, learning here.

(JulieD) yes DrD. but as goodwill said, we are all psychics!

(Eleanora) you can be a psychic, and not a medium...big difference!

(Dr_D) dis is true!

(Eleanora) well, I'm not in closet really, but sort of.

(Energetic) I am sort of, and would like to have all.

(Jess) I am psychic, but haven't discovered mediumship yet...

(JulieD) I'm a spiritual medium.

(Dr_D) I know you are Psamea...lol

(goodwill) I don't know the difference.

(dishes) I'm a psychic.

(PSAMEA) ...but JulieD despairs of teaching me mediumship.

(Dr_D) Mediums can receive messages from spirit

(JulieD) hahahaha

(Eleanora) I'm psychic, but not a medium, or as my friends say... trying hard not to be.

(BJM) I am both I guess, but I connect more with my mediumship abilities than the other...

(dishes) I'm not a medium

(BJM) ...but I am definitely a fledgling!!

(dishes) ...when Sonia imagined her soulmate, Patrick.

(BJM) at times I guess I have - just not so clearly and confidently... I really wish I could. I meditate and try but...

(JulieD) DrD I do not hear spirit too often, more clairsentient, but have worked similar to Sonia.

(Jess) Sonia says it is subtle to hear your guides, but perhaps it just seems really clear if you are really open to it...

(JulieD) noahsdad you are empathic, and also clairsentient.

(Noahsdad) ty

(dishes) it's all about shutting down the mind chatter.

(Jess) I find it really subtle, so I know I do get direction, but it is gentle.

(goodwill) the messages my guides give me are clear, but I don't always take it as clear as I should...

(Dr_D) yes...'not thinking' as Charlie pointed out.

(PSAMEA) I'm more clairaudient than clairvoyant.

(goodwill) ...ignoring the messages too many times.

(BJM) Yes, Sonia is constantly telling her radio listeners to 'get out of their heads'.
How does she put it dishes?

(seeking) After this can someone explain how to cut the mind chatter, PLEASE!

(dishes) too much thinking...

(JulieD) Sonia works very different to the way I share a reading.

(dishes) ...or mind chewing gum.

(raneem) Am I the only one here who is 'nothing'? LOL

(Dr_D) She seemed to have had a very strong visual/auditory connection with all of her guides.

(Energetic) getting messages... ignore sometimes.

(Eleanora) I have never learned how to cut the mind chatter seeking, but sometimes I can tone it down.

(PSAMEA) no one is 'nothing' raneem...

(Dr_D) We are all Something Raneem

(Nomokids6) lol I'm not sure what I be... not clear on all the technical names.

(PSAMEA) ...you just haven't made the choice to develop such skills.

(JulieD) my guides are a part of me when I am working, so share the time together

(BJM) Sonia's readings are more of the psychic nature, and yours are more as a medium eh?

(Jess) Meditation is the best for clearing the mind.

(goodwill) yeah chewing gum for the mind, that was funny.

(raneem) I'm trying to develop skills...

(Energetic) yes jess

(PSAMEA) good raneem...

(BJM) mental constipation - isn't that what she says?

(JulieD) yes BJM. Mine is first to prove survival of spirit, and then to bring help from loved ones.

(PSAMEA) ...being here today is a step forward for you I hope.

(Dr_D) This was the first time I had heard about the connection with the Lord's Prayer and balancing of the Chakras.... Very, Very Interesting...Charlie broke it down exquisitely!

(goodwill) it does feel like constipation, eh?

(chad) ok, I have a question for ya all.......

(JulieD) yes DrD! I hadn't heard that one before.

(raneem) I say the Lord's Prayer twice a day Dr D since I read the book.

(Eleanora) ok

(PSAMEA) I thought that highly interesting too Dr.D

(dishes) yes, take what you need.

(BJM) I thought that was interesting too D. I think it's what ever resonates with you.

(JulieD) chad?

(BJM) go ahead chad.

(chad) do you find there are two distinct ways people access spirit........  one psychic and the other empathic?

(seeking) interesting correlation, it feels the same, just never thought of it that way.

(Eleanora) feels the same to me psychic or empathic.

(BJM) I think it's a subtle difference chad. I think empathic is one kind of psychic

(Eleanora) sometimes likes just thoughts that are not my own, like ESP

(JulieD) chad I believe that when you are empathic you are 'feeling' the psychic. When you access spirit, you work through the psychic through to the etheric aura and connect in a finer energy.

(dishes) I liked the fact that Sonia had a dream about her hubby, Patrick before they met...

(PSAMEA) that was funny dishes because the robe in the dream was on the wrong guy

(dishes) lol ps

(BJM) I thought that was interesting too dishes

(dishes) I've had those kind of dreams too.

(chad) I find often that I have a hard time being around someone that is strongly psychic but with out awareness....... its like nails on a chalk board   ....... almost painful.

(PSAMEA) agree chad

(JulieD) chad I can understand that

(BJM) Ok, so that brings us to Dr. Tully. What was his main thing to teach her?

(dishes) the metaphysical part... on the other side of that..... a strong empath is easy to be around.

(PSAMEA) thoughts are things.

(Jess) Dr Tully taught her about Spirit.

(JulieD) you know we don't always lend with others

(Jess) Chad, I don't know what you mean?

(BJM) I understand that too chad - it's a vulnerable feeling.

(PSAMEA) the Karma and Purpose chapter....

(Dr_D) To continue to learn....there is always something else to learn/share......he was very mysterious to her....and I loved the fact that she has now lectured in the very room where she listened to his lectures....he seemed very powerful.. Could just picture him

(chad) ask a different way Jess......... what don't you understand?

(JulieD) chad an empath has to be careful not to give too much of themselves that's why you enjoy their energy.

(dishes) yes he was very powerful

(Noahsdad) yeah so just back it off chad...j/kidding

(JulieD) DRD I agree I found it very powerful and interesting.

(Dr_D) He was her metaphysical smorgasbord.....lol

(Jess) You said it was uncomfortable to be around a psychic who is unaware- why? Or how?

(BJM) Can I quote from the book here?  She really describes well what she learned from Dr. Tully

(Dr_D) She does indeed...she has a good way with her wording...to bring the reader into her world.

(PSAMEA) I think that clarifying her intention was his point

(chad) they feel like a bull in a china closet Jess...... they are very loud in a way....... a psychic way........

(BJM) "Dr. Tully inspired me to use my psychic facilities to understand, learn, question, and help people grow - not just to see what was unfolding in lives but to understand why."

(Dr_D) yes Raneem..."We create it all"

(JulieD) they often have a big ego and work with it chad

(BJM) "Before his teachings, I never thought to ask why about anything, and neither did my clients.  It was though we collectively and unconsciously agreed that we got what we got and accepted it.  I was coming to understand that this wasn't true.  What was true is that we got what we focused on, and the better we focused, the better we got."

(Noahsdad) who was Tully?

(BJM) he was her third teacher Noah

(JulieD) DR Tully was Sonia's next teacher after Charlie

(Noahsdad) ty

(BJM) "....What they didn't know was that we all have a choice.  I knew in my heart that to teach them that was my mission."

(dishes) ah for the past life reading

(goodwill) he taught her to look deep into things

(JulieD) also the surname of her future friend...

(Noahsdad) I know a Dr Tully.

(Dr_D) Yes Julie...I found that most amazing.

(seeking) and fear too chad, they are not quite sure if they are insane and do not know what is happening.

(dishes) so synchronistic

(BJM) yes - so interesting that her husband, Patrick Tully, has the first name of the man who introduced her to Dr. Tully and the last name, of course of her teacher

(JulieD) when I read about Dr Tully, it reminded me of followers of Sai Baba when they go for audiences

(Dr_D) She said that Charlie died, but never did mention what happened to Tully.

(dishes) ya true

(Jess) Not to go backwards, but Sonia talks about being so sensitive as a kid, all the teachings help to understand what is happening.

(dishes) oh to skip ahead...she mentioned how she forgot about her family and met her guides. The 'p' sisters.

(BJM) she still didn't get that there was something to be done about it all.

(JulieD) Once we understand we can then make the most of our life's experiences and not have to go thro them again.

(PSAMEA) She also dedicated herself to teaching others to learn to be their own psychics... to trust their guides... etc.

(BJM) that manifesting that Tully taught her, was a big part of that.

(Dr_D) Keep in mind too that she was still very young.......I am very impressed with her...

(dishes) yes...at one point, she did shut down her abilities though.

(PSAMEA) her discipline actually asserted itself when she began reading cards after school

(BJM) yes, she had that horrible experience at the murder scene.

(JulieD) I agree BJM, and it helps us to understand that if we approach what we need in life with a positive energy, then it manifests.

(BJM) that was a huge lesson for her eh?

(dishes) yes it was...

(BJM) right Jules - and she became determined to teach people that.

(Dr_D) brought on by those "psychics"  in a box.....

(dishes) ...those crazy people who flattered her.

(BJM) It was a big part of her going from just psychic reader, to teacher and counselor.

(JulieD) BJM that was quite a disturbing part of the book, when she went with the two 'psychics'.

(BJM) I know!

(PSAMEA) I think that was an object lesson in relating that about the two she was involved with who took her to the murder scene.... to trust your own 'distrust' no matter what 'credentials' someone says they have, if you are uncomfortable with them.

(dishes) yes...and her mom warned her.

(BJM) I've met a few of those types in my time.

(BJM) It's a hard lesson in being nonjudgmental for sure. Lol D!

(Jess) What is so great, is that we see her in the 'today', that her path was so meant to be, yet the book helps to realize how many times she herself questioned herself, guides, abilities, etc. It is normal...

(PSAMEA) actually, I have also, and escaped by the skin of my teeth and a wonderful psychic friend's 'de-programming'.

(BJM) I know - it's great to see where she is now and all of the good work she does - and have such a great picture of how she came to be there.

(dishes) she sounds so self-assured.

(JulieD) It is important to also learn that we should not just trust everyone and every spirit but to learn to grow with them and go by our own instincts.

(BJM) Not personally, but I'm a big fan of her workbooks.

(dishes) Sonia will be my future teacher in Feb.

(BJM) and I would LOVE to do her psychic university courses.

(Dr_D) I'd love to go here her speak in Chicago.

(Jess) JD- yes... it is a balance act of trusting ourselves, but learning from others at the same time...

(Dr_D) She has a Ph.D in metaphysics...wow!!

(Jess) I am manifesting to go in Feb too! I am on a strict path of reading every book, and learning all I can from Sonia!!

(Dr_D) Because she has already focused so much on it...it was already a done deal.

(Jess) Raneem- it was already created... her heart created it, but her head doubted at the end.
