Temporary Internet Files, also known as the browser cache, are files that are stored on your computer by Internet browser. Temporary Internet Files folder contains copies of webpages, images and media that are saved for faster viewing. If you experienced a glitch or problem on a web site, like a chat room, that problem is also stored in the cache. By clearing your cache you remove the remembered glitch.
