“If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans.”―James Herriot
A couple of years ago I met Samantha Khury at one of my book signings. We chatted for a few minutes, and she told me she was an animal communicator. Naturally, I was intrigued – I’ve known many animal psychics, but something about Samantha felt different and special. She gave me her business card, and when I got home, I looked up her web site, which led me down a fascinating path of articles and youtube videos featuring Samantha and a wide range of animals. Not limiting her practice to domesticated animals, Samantha has worked with all kinds of animals, all over the world.
There was one video I’ll never forget! It was an accounting of a reading Samantha did for a circus elephant named Nosey. The first thing that struck me was how Samantha described connecting with the elephant. Her process is so similar to the one I use in connecting with the dead. If you’ve attended one of my events or workshops, you might be familiar with my blending exercise – where I guide the audience as they blend with a soul on the other side. Samantha does the same thing with living animals, basically becoming one with them on a soul level. Doing this allows her to receive emotional impressions from the animal, to feel what the animal is feeling, and even tap into their memories. Then she can speak to the animal psychically to send them messages, provide comfort, and make suggestions.
The one thing that really resonated with me is how Samantha uses love as a universal language to connect, comfort, and heal her animal clients.
When she connected with Nosey the elephant, she soon discerned that the poor animal had been traumatized since she was a young elephant. By blending with Nosey’s energy, Samantha was able to shift the emptiness that the elephant was feeling and provide some sparks of happiness.
Samantha has blazed a trail as a pioneer and leading authority on interspecies communication. Her documentary, called I Talk to Animals, brought recognition to the field of animal communication. She traveled the world, from Juneau, Alaska, where she worked with endangered black bears, and to Ostersund, Sweden, where she collaborated with farmers re-evaluating their calving policies. While in Sweden, she also set up an apprenticeship program to certify Animal Communicators.
Today, Samantha’s major focus is the establishment of a Center for Interspecies Communication. The Institute’s ultimate goal of peaceful existence with all species is to expand animal communication, compassion, love and to value our unique differences, be it human-to-animal or human-to-human.
I think this passage from Samantha’s web site sums her mission up perfectly “Samantha believes that is we can learn to listen to animals, we can help them. She believes that doing so can lead to happier pets and happier owners, and a deeper connection between the two species.”
Samantha and I will be partnering up with me to teach the first live lesson of my upcoming course – Spiritual Animal Friends. Click here to reserve your spot more https://bit.ly/2DTU89r
