They actually experience the feelings of others with their 6th sense, through clairsentience. As a medium, I’m at the top of the sensitivity range. After all, I have to be open to receive messages from the other side. But over the years, I have become an expert at turning my “receiver” off and on – dialing down the frequency in order to protect my energy field. It wasn’t always that way. There was a time early in my career when I was feeling so drained, exhausted and mentally scattered that I was convinced there was something seriously wrong with me! Concerned about my physical health, I scheduled a session with a famous healer from Japan. After scanning my energy field, he asked if I had recently been on television. Surprised, I told him that I’d been on a talk show earlier that week. “How could you tell?” I inquired. He told me that my first chakra was full of other people’s energy, which had lodged there like the quills of a porcupine. Millions of people watching me on national television had been desperately trying to deal with the grief of a lost loved one. They bombarded me with their thoughts, which were all about survival – and because thoughts are things – they traveled through space and zeroed in on my first chakra. The healer was able to clear and balance my chakras, and showed me a technique to clear my energy field. I was amazed when my symptoms disappeared. I’ve used this technique ever since. Later in my career I added into my cleansing routine a special process that I developed for grounding myself and running my energy.
