Legacy of Love

Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This Monday we honor Martin Luther King Jr., a humanitarian and civil rights leader who was committed to a persistent, nonviolent approach in the fight for racial equality. Decades after his life on earth was cut short, his influence on our country’s social, racial, and spiritual terrain lives on… and his words are as meaningful and inspiring and ever.

King said “Everybody can be great… because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve…you only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

Are you unsettled about the state of the world today – but feel powerless to change things? You can make a difference. Being helpful to your family, caring for a pet, performing an act of compassion, just being a source of love and light to the people you encounter as you go about your day are all ways that you can generate positive change. Just set your intention to send positive energy out into the world, and be aware, moment by moment, of opportunities to realize that goal.

This passage from The Power of Love explains how mindfulness can help you to stay present and replace feelings of fear and anxiety with love.

Instead of being caught up in fear and anticipation, we can press the pause button on our reactions to life’s disturbances and see them as opportunities to use the power of love. Life is not a destination; it’s a journey. In a world where everyone is “doing,” we tend to miss the smaller and most significant parts of our learning experiences. We don’t have to fast-forward every moment of life. Living in the moment teaches us that there is a time and place for everything.

As spiritual seekers, our goal is to practice mindfulness every day, in every hour of every day, and in every minute of every hour. It is easy to get caught up in social media, work, family, school, and chores and forget to take a moment to breathe and remind ourselves of who we really are. The mind (not the brain) is the soul. Spirit is constantly reminding us to stay present. Spending time thinking about what was or what will be only diminishes the potential we have right now. When we let go and exist in the present, we are able to bring the fullness of love to every thought and experience.

Do you want to experience life-changing, universal love? I invite you to join me at a live mediumship demonstration. Beautiful, divine love from the Spirit realm blends with the feelings of love from the people in the audience, creating a powerful vibration in the room. I can see the change in the air, as auras change to glorious colors of pink, gold and green – which are carried out into the world, creating a ripple effect. Even if you can’t attend a live workshop, I want to share that love light with you.

I recorded a live demonstration last year in San Diego, at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living. You can experience this live demonstration in your own home clicking here. And in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. I’m offering it for a specially reduced priced so everyone can feel the power of love. Just use code MLKLOVE at check out to receive $10.00 off!
