“When we surrender, we allow the universe to work its magic; we say yes to infinite possibilities; we trust that things will work out as they are meant to; and we give ourselves permission to let go of the outcome. This can be liberating, intimidating, blissful, scary, and a swirl of so many other emotions. But in the end, if we are true to our heart, life unfolds with magnificence…and we get to celebrate”

Meditation is magic! Besides providing a calm oasis in your busy life, a regular practice – just a few minutes at the same time, at least once a day – can improve your health, help you to reach your goals, and strengthen your connection to Spirit.
Do these dilemmas sound familiar?
Here are just a few questions that my students have asked me. You’ve probably faced some of the same challenges yourself :
“I used to feel the presence of my Spirit guides all the time, but lately, they seem to have vanished from my life.”
“I feel STUCK – like I’m going in circles and not getting closer to where I want to be!”
“I’m stressed and anxious, and I’m having trouble sleeping.”
“I don’t feel as healthy or energetic as I used to.”
“My inner voice seems to be drowned out by everything going on around me.”
“I’m not sure what the next step in my life journey should be.”
These questions are all so different, but the answer to all of them is “First, sit in the silence.”
Creating your own personal meditative ritual.
Anyone who has experienced the power of meditation will tell you that it’s worth prioritizing. Make meditation part of your daily ritual, like brushing your teeth. After all, you’d never say that you’re too busy to brush your teeth every morning! Find a relatively quiet place where you can sit and focus on your breath for 10-20 minutes. You might set a timer at first with a soft chime.
Here’s a visualization that will help you to get started:
As you sit quietly, start to slow your breath. Picture yourself on a boat on the ocean. Your breath is the waves, calm and regular. Imagine yourself riding the waves of your breath.
Breathe in, hold, breath out. Ride the waves…
Now as you breath out, imagine yourself letting go of toxins. Picture your outward breath taking with it old resentments, insecurities, fears. Release everything that does not serve you.
Now breathe in – and imagine a glowing emerald green light that permeates every part of your body. Picture your entire being filled with this mystical, beautiful green light.
Continue to breathe out what you don’t need and breath in healing green light.
– Breathe out disharmony and fill the space with harmony.
– Breathe out in-balance and breath in balance.
– Breath out darkness and let light illuminate you.
– Breathe out fear and resentment, and breathe in love and compassion.
Sit in the stillness and let your soul drink in the green light, as if you were a dry plant absorbing fresh rainwater from the soil.
Once you’ve made meditation a habit, you’ll find that it’s the most important and rewarding part of your day! Those few minutes will help you to be happier, healthier and more grounded in the hours that follow.
If you love the idea of meditating but, like many people, can’t seem to get started, maybe you need a little help!
